Student accommodation (public or private sector providers)
Major changes for Le Creusot student accommodation:
As from July 2020, all our incoming students (including students with spouse) are invited to send an email to the Foyer des Jeunes Travailleurs (FJT) through [email protected]. Update 20 July: See below further FJT information on and guidance for application for the Acacias residence. You'll need to directly with FJT for any further questions regarding application procedure and accommodation. Besides managing the “Acacias” student residence as from this year, FJT also manages other types of accommodations in Le Creusot. This long established non-profit accommodation provider in Le Creusot, with English speaking staff, will directly see with you about accommodation needs/options and will further guide you in the application process. You will be provided with a housing certificate among others for French visa application purposes. FJT also provides other types of support in accommodation and some daily life related fields such as the French housing allowance application (CAF) and social events, after settling in le Creusot. FJT will inform you about these services/support/events. According to our information, a change of name is foreseen for FJT, into Résidence Habitat Jeunes. Continuing students currently residing in Acacias: FJT intends contacting you directly. Don’t hesitate getting in touch with FJT through the above mentioned email, if this hasn’t been the case.

Association of International Students of Le Creusot (AISL)
Update 21 July: An independent student association, called “Association of International Students of Le Creusot” (AISL), was created this academic year 2019-2020 by international students from our Le Creusot campus, offering practical experience-based student to student support to incoming international students.
